Young Adults

What is the Young Adults group all about? Bethel's Young Adults group is designed for post high school age individuals who want to have meaningful fellowship and develop friendships based upon shared beliefs and spiritual priorities. The group meets on alternate Sundays at a different church members home, or at the Church facility, for dinner and a Bible lesson. It is an excellent way to meet and grow within the church as well as in your own spiritual life.

Building strong relationships daily! Not only do the Young Adults like to meet for Bible Studies on Sunday's, but they also like to hang out on a more social level throughout the week. Socials are decided upon by the group and whether its going out for dinner, bowling or having a movie night, the Young Adults enjoy fellowship and camaraderie with each other throughout the year.

When does the Young Adults group meet? Bethel's Young Adults group meets for Bible Study fellowship on alternate Sundays from September through May. They also meet throughout the year for social events and activities.

Friday Night Bible Study

Connect with other adults to learn and develop a deeper Christian walk! The Friday Night Bible Study is an opportunity for Adult couples and singles to meet on a regular basis to study the Word of God, apply those learnings to their Christian walk and develop relationships that will foster continued growth in the Christian life.

What does the group study? The material is generally a study of a book of the Bible that also contains questions and discussion topics that lead to more in depth conversations and interactions about the Bible, faith and the Christian life. The group has also studied topics such as prayer and parenting.

As a group we are be both encouraged and challenged in our walk with God through these various studies. There is also a time to enjoy fellowship with each other after finishing the studying lessons. In addition, there are typically social activities which begin and end the year as well as social fellowship events throughout the season to encourage group members to develop friendships that lead to deeper relationships.

When does this Bible Study Meet? Our club meets every other Friday from September to April at the home of one of the members.

Ladies Trust & Obey Bible Study

The Ladies Trust & Obey Bible study gives the opportunity for senior women to meet with each other on a regular basis for Bible study, encouragement and fellowship.

In a culture that fears aging and denies it at every opportunity, Christians are encouraged to accept aging as a vital and positive stage of our spiritual journey. This should be a time in which God continues to fit us for his kingdom and develops within us the character of his Son. This is not a time to merely exist, but a time to grow and bloom, aging in grace.

The ladies Trust & Obey Bible study does just that as it provides an opportunity for Seniors to meet, be strengthen and strengthen each other through God's Word and be in prayer for one another, the Church and the world at large.

When does the Ladies Trust & Obey group meet? This society meets every other Tuesday at Shalem Manor from September through May.

Choral Group

Make a joyful noise to the Lord! The Bethel United Reformed Church choral group is a mixed voice (SATB) choir made up of Bethel members who love to sing and give praises to God. Each season the Bethel choral group performs for several special services including Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. They also conduct a yearly performance for the local seniors home during the Christmas season and other events that might come up for any given year.

Do you love to sing? The choral group are always looking to add new voices! Both men and women are welcome to join.

When does the choral group meet? Apart from the seasonal performances that they perform in, the Choral group meets Sundays after the morning service from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in the Church sanctuary.

Men’s Bible Study

Men’s Bible study at Bethel Reformed Church provides men of all ages with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding on the rich teachings of the Bible and how to practically apply that teachings to everyday lives. The study is facilitated by a regular study leader that allows for free but structured discussion and interaction.

The group studies mostly books of the Bible with study guides but would also at times involve material like the attributes of God, how to be Godly husbands and fathers and more.

When does the Bible Study meet? We meet every Saturday morning from January to May and again from September to November at 08:30 in the Bethel Reformed Church building and seldom go longer than 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Women's Bible Study

Bethel United Reformed Church has a Women's Bible Study that meets weekly in a teacher lead environment that is both educational and spiritually edifying. This is a wonderful opportunity to share, learn, have fellowship and foster a spirit of unity specifically among the women of the Church.

Why a Women's Bible Study? Jesus wants women to be theologically minded and grounded in the Scriptures. Women's Bible studies can help you get serious about the Scriptures and spur you on to stay in God's Word and think deeply about what it means and how it applies to your life.

When does the Women's Bible Study meet? Wednesday mornings at 9:30 AM or Monday evenings at 7:00 PM from September through May.
